  The deadline to submit information for the April 2008 church newsletter is Wednesday, March 26. Items may be edited. Items may be left in the church office, dropped in the mail or sent to the Church email: fccc@iowatelecom.net. Please give this your consideration and have items in on time. Thank you!  It is our prayer as the Bookstore team that we can provide affordable resources to the people of the church and community to help fulfill the church's vision of providing an environment for presenting each member mature in Christ, and to help them as they learn to passionately model the life and teachings of Christ, and obey His command to make disciples.
The Bookstore is currently open Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. Come in and see what’s available! Special orders are welcome. Let family and friends know about this ministry.
The prayer focus for the Nursery Ministry is that the children would desire inner beauty and godly character, and that they would grow more Christ-like daily; that they as well as those they marry, will be kept pure both before and after marriage.
**Child care is available in the nursery during the Sunday Worship Service for children ages 0-4 years. The Children's Christian Education team is asking you to continue to pray as they and the Sunday School teachers prepare for the Sunday School year to begin.
Sunday School Teacher training has already taken place, as well as hours of prayer and preparation. We are anticipating God doing great things in each of our lives as we study the Ten Commandments.
Working with you for His Kingdom, The C.E. Team If you are interested in participation in a support group dealing with topics like depression, loneliness, anxiety, etc., please contact Pastor Tim. Meetings are planned for Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm.
Please check your church mailboxes for your copy of The Family Exchange, a new newsletter we're developing for the Saratoga and Cresco churches to help the body meet the needs of the body. If you have needs, prayer requests, or blessings to share, this is the place. Ads can be left at the First Congregational Church office, or you can email them to us, or you can call us at 563-547-2263. Your requests for anonymity will be held in strict confidence.

The Answer - This is a new publication that we are sponsoring, and it is being sent to all Cresco mail routes. The Saratoga church is sending it to several of the Lime Springs, Riceville and Elma routes as well. If you live outside this coverage area and would like a copy of the magazine, we will have copies of each issue available in the fellowship area as they are published.
Cresco SHARE - As our church takes a more active role in the administration of the SHARE program, we would encourage you to consider participating. Check the information table in the fellowship hall for flyers explaining the details. Both registration and distribution are now located at The Harbor. Dates are shown on the monthly calendar. If you have questions, see Pastor Tim, Joe Sir, or Barb Larsen.
Sermons are now available on CD and on tape following the worship service and are also available to download and listen to online.
Are you interested in using the Harbor for an upcoming function? Maybe a bible study, a bridal or baby shower, a family get-together, or a small group meeting? Well, Jim Larsen has graciously consented to keep a calendar for the Harbor use. So check with Jim at 547-3444 for the current schedule and availability.
Our Elders are available to pray with you about any concerns and praises you have. They will be at the front of the church following Sunday service.
